First day of school...

was perfect! My new class is wonderful. The welcome bags I sent home with the students must have done the trick because the students have created a family and really help each other (even on tests HA We will have to work on that!). Can I tell you how hard it is to get onto a student for skipping in the classroom. They are just THAT happy! Here's another one. How do you tell a child to sit down and get on task when they just got up to hug you and tell you how much fun they are having??? I just can't do it.
Meet Samuel. He likes to please me. He calls me an angel, but actually he is the answer to a teacher's prayer.

This is Brooklyn. She wasn't in our class very long, but she was as sweet as she looks.

Meet Landon. He is an expert problem solver. He analyzes everthing and thinks so deeply.

Meet my Morgan. Her smile lights up the room. She never gives up. Her handwriting is beautiful.

This is Nolan. He gives 200% to anything he tries. He is very loving and responsible. Just ask Marshmallow, our class pet.

Everyone likes Miguel. His enthusiasm for learning is contagious!

Shelby is the class princess. She may walk on tiptoes, but she keeps a busy schedule. Her favorite thing to do is sing!

Don't let Payton's sense of humor fool you. He is sensitive to the needs of others. Maybe that is why students are instantly drawn to him.

Meet Sebastian. He is very quiet and very smart!

Meet the kindest child I have ever met. This is Treasure. What a treasure it is to have this sweetheart in our classroom!

Meet Grant. Just look at this smile! He is eagar to learn everything from science to math!

If you could see brilliance, this is what it looks like. Meet Ashlynn.

Meet Charity! A diva? Yes! Smart? Yes! Secure in who she is? Yes!

Meet Logan. He remembers everthing he sees, hears, or reads. Hunting is his passion.

Hello Chadaijia! This smart girl orally reads 200 words per minute. Can she remember what she read? Yes she can!

Meet Daniel. He was with us long enough to learn all of his addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts! He went home to Austria. We miss you Daniel!

Say hello to Bailey. Bailey always has a smile to share, a hand to help, and a word of encouragement! On top of that, he is SMART!
